You’ve had a long day at work.
The boss is on your back about something while your coworkers demand your attention. You finish your day, head to pick up the kids from daycare and on the way home everyone is already complaining. You try to think about how you’ll convince the kiddos to spend some time outside so you can have some solitude while you prepare dinner and finish the never ending list of to-dos at home.
You pull into your drive and you glimpse something.
Bright, cheerful colors sit on your stoop. You smile.
Your worries are gone, even if for just a moment, while you rush to the door to admire your flowers.
How could you forget? You have been looking forward to delivery day all week. You smile again as you think about the rest of the summer and all of the happiness you know the flowers will bring you.
The only worry you have now is… Should I put them on the table or the night stand?
